ANNUAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE HARVEST OF THE COFFEE
The annual distribution or the flow of the harvest of the coffee, varies mainly according to the coffee regions depending on the environmental temperature, the rain regime and the altitudes of production. In this sense, three producing regions of coffee have been identified, that correspond to the provinces of Nor and Sud Yungas, to the low and high region of Caranavi.
The distribution of the harvest in Nor and Sud Yungas, is as of the months of March to September of every year, is a zone "traditional" of the coffee production that is in altitudes that go from the 1,100 to the 1,900 m.s.n.m.
In Caranavi, new region of production coffee, the harvest begins in the months of March until October, in this region are two characteristic zones, the low zones with coffee cultures from the 800 to the 1,400 m.s.n.m. and in high zones from the 1000 to the 1800 m.s.n.m.. The exposed thing previously, determines the availability for the commercialization of the product as of the month of May until December.
